Communication System

Communication systems are an important integral part of any one country's infrastructure because communication system plays a vital role in any countries development.. When we see the traveling to another country tourists need to know how they can communicate with their family and friends back home. Whilst communication systems of Bangladesh are somewhat underdeveloped, they are being improved which is going to the year of 1971 to still now. Internet access in Bangladesh is available in the larger cities. While there are a variety of methods of communication in Bangladesh's cities, visitors may find it difficult to find similar forms of the communication system in the rural areas.

The reasons for lagging behind include the high service charges, the lack of awareness, poor, injured and insufficient infrastructure, unfavourable Government policy, low buying power of the potential customer, lack of our institutional support for . Bangladesh is one of them. It’s a poor country with large population. Internet came late in Bangladesh but in last few years it has grown dramatically, obviously in from a very low base. There are many ISP’s (Internet Service Provider) in Bangladesh with an estimated user base of around 500,000 in early 2006 but it is only 0.35% penetration.

So we can say that, totally insufficient for a modern nation in a Third World Country like Bangladesh.........

Domestic: modernizing; introducing digital systems; trunk systems include VHF and UHF microwave radio relay links, and some fiber-optic cable in cities...........

International: satellite earth stations - 2 Intelsat (Indian Ocean); international radiotelephone communications and landlines service to neighboring countries (2000)............
